Thanks for the clarification! This dovetails nicely with my next question: We (the MAME team) are interested in preserving Quantel's units from the 80's and early 90's, and have a dump of the boot monitor ROMs (two chips, 16k each, hi/lo) from a Harriet. But that's it. (cont'd)

As someone who collects, repairs, and helps preserve these beasts, I'm sure you can appreciate that there will eventually come a time when all of the vintage machines are irreparable. But we on the MAME team can't do much with just the boot monitor and no HDD image. (cont'd)

I figured I would reach out to you in that regard. I'm a huge fan of graphics workstations of that era - I've been spending my time recently emulating the Silicon Graphics "Indy" workstation - and I'm confident that emulation of Quantel machines is doable. Thoughts?
