@OortClouder I keep telling ya man, something isn't inherently public domain just because it's old and not actively distributed or promoted by its rights-holders. Quite the opposite: Copyright is inherent. It's trademark that has to be actively litigated to be maintained.
Literally the only purpose of my tweets was to explain to @OortClouder that his Public Domain Cinema streams are not, by and large, public domain, and that is why YouTube keeps pulling them. Just stating how things are. How they should be is an entirely separate discussion.
