Equally random thing in the same vein: I once punched out a guy on the Stockholm subway system who was smacking a woman around in front of a bunch of actual Swedes.

Still bugs the hell out of me that I was the one who had to stand up on her behalf, having moved here only three months previously at the time, when all the actual Swedes just poked their noses deeper into their phones.
