How much of those does MAME's new Apple II driver get right?
Well, there's a 64-bit OS X build of MAME 0.201 (just released yesterday) here: http://sdlmame.lngn.net/ The ROM sets you'll need to find yourself, but they should be available on http://archive.org if memory serves correctly.

Also, remember that you'll need the ROMs from various peripheral cards - for example, the Disk II's PROM dumps are in "a2diskii". For openers, you'll probably want to run "./mame64 apple2e -listslots", to get a list of the supported cards: https://gist.github.com/MooglyGuy/a9dcabdc746b93091778e1eba146609b …

Yes, this means you get to experience the fun of choosing which cards to put in which slots. Suppose you want a Mockingboard in slot 1 and a Disk II in slot 6, you would invoke MAME as so: ./mame64 apple2e -sl1 mockingboard -sl6 diskii
