Just to be That Guy, I hope you were upfront about the fact that these more off-beat handhelds may or may not be a gate array, which is harder to emulate, and we won't know one way or the other without decapping it. :)

For those who don't know: The easy kind: a mass-produced CPU connected to RAM and a ROM. The hard kind: neither of those - instead, wiring arranged into logic gates that provide the game's behavior. Pong is like this, which is why it's far more often simulated than emulated.
