A thought I've had regarding the whole "you don't look autistic" thing - is there anyone else on the spectrum who feels like you (the reader, not the royal 'you') *can* visibly see if a person is on the spectrum, but can't quite put into words how? #AskingAutistics @NeuroRebel
Uh 1) I'm on the autism spectrum myself. 2) I'm not judging anyone in the slightest. 3) I was asking if anyone ELSE on the spectrum feels that there are either physical or behavioral characteristics that those of us on the spectrum are more easily able to see in fellow autists.

Each of us is really unique, and I’ve been told myself that I’ve surely being uncounsipusly mimmicking neurotypicals my whole life. But I would dare say I recognise ‘obvious’ traits easily. But its more body language than just missing/fleeting stare imho.

But a good conversation settles it more. Guess having others diagnosed in my familly helps learn about what are some often present traits. I say often as in ‘I do not generalise’
