A thought I've had regarding the whole "you don't look autistic" thing - is there anyone else on the spectrum who feels like you (the reader, not the royal 'you') *can* visibly see if a person is on the spectrum, but can't quite put into words how? #AskingAutistics @NeuroRebel
Best way I can describe it is that it has something to do with the person's gaze.
Uh 1) I'm on the autism spectrum myself. 2) I'm not judging anyone in the slightest. 3) I was asking if anyone ELSE on the spectrum feels that there are either physical or behavioral characteristics that those of us on the spectrum are more easily able to see in fellow autists.
And the way they hold their shoulders.
