Just going to assume im blacklisted by youtube at this point. No matter what I upload the bot automatically demonetizes my videos on public even tho EVERY video ends up getting confirmed by manual review that its ad worthy @TeamYouTube

That second channel would have hit 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 subscribers just to be eligible for monetization. Then, he'd have to apply and that can take months to go through.

No it doesn't not take a few months, a week at most. His community tab on his main channel will help him achieve the requirements. After all what are 1000 subs and 4000 hours?

Those are the requirements to APPLY for monetization. Once you apply, it can take months.

Personal experience, it took 3 days. It really depends on what the channel is about. Gaming gets approved immediately (1-3 work days)

And BionicPig doesn't post gaming content, does he? No. His content is more problematic than someone who plays video games. Even then, not everyone can see the community post unless that have that turned on. The best he can do is stick it out and hope YouTube fixes itself.pic.twitter.com/j8zO4SMnPl
