Well, considering what forum most of the community calls home, I'm not entirely shocked they're doing the same thing they did when Gush needed to be banned. Knowing these people, they probably think Storm should be legal.

I mean, I think its kinda normal. Most people only play Pauper at their LGS, where the level of play honestly isnt that high. Not everyone has experience grinding leagues/challenges, which leads to "weird" perceptions about the metagame.

The same could be same for every format. Wizards handles format health based on the highest level of play, whether players like it or not.

Out of curiosity, what would be an ideal pauper format? I mean, one where there's not a cry for bans every few months...

One where WotC doesn’t print stuff that screws up the format by making the format’s top deck actually half of the top of the metagame (by this I mean t8 and t16 of big events), which is happening now with Jeskai and happened before (for a period at least) with Dimir Delver.
