    More than almost ANYONE, Black & Jewish folks share similar struggles, especially in this country. I’ve been fortunate enough to be friends, coworkers, & now family with Jewish people my entire life and it is so saddening to see this anti-Semitism. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY condemn it.

    Helpful thread for understanding some stuff.

    What took issue with is the statement that "Israel is the core of Judaism, 'unlike your 'Tikkun Olam'..." I want to give a short *thread* on why this is offensive, beyond just a group named for a white Evangelical lecturing a Jew on what "the core" of Judaism is.

    making Israel the core of Judaism, and evaluating people's Judaism on whether they support Israel, is antisemitic. It's in fact one of the main forms of antisemitism on the left. You're cosigning it, in an intentional effort to harm left Jewish people.
