Gens 3-5 before mass bans ruined (4 and 5) them want to have a word tbh But gen 6 was fire then everything got banned for increasingly bad reasons
People who like any other meta of pokemon besides Gen6 are wrong . You can complain about megas but it wasn't necessary to have a good team.

People who argue gen 5 are wild to me. Weather was hell Gen 4 was decent because of the split which made it easier to use more mons

I enjoyed playing gen4 just for fun, nothing competitive. Gen5 would be about the same, I just didn't have much love for a lot of the gen5 pokemon, and was a little burnt out on pokemon at the time. Also I was using cloyster in gen 4 before it was cool (read: good)
