      6) Worse... if anyone should later question FBI Director Comey about it, Comey would say (honestly) he knew Obama was briefed on it because he provided a paper trail. WH counsel Ruemmler would have immediately identified the White House exposure.

      8) The problem at that point (post meeting) was the risk of it being Obama's word -vs- James Comey. Comey had records, a paper trail, for his escape; the White House did not. It's a he said/he said risk.

          Can't forget that Rice got the same letter from the Brits that Flynn got concerning Steele being of dubious character. Was Susan Rice's reaction, "who is Steele"? Well of course not. She and the rest of them were all in on it.
