Reading all the devastating stories on #WhyIDidntReport, I ask: as a father of three small girls, what can I do to make sure they understand that if they're ever touched inappropriately & put in an uncomfortable situation, they can and should tell me immediately?
I’m not sure parents are always the right outlet (depends on relationship); the key is telling an adult who has their best interests at heart. Outside (untraumatized) perspective + care seems like the aim.

And cultivating that relationship with kids as they mature and seek more independence is really hard.
