Here is a shoutout to two recent indie horror games that I consider good quality games with actual passion and effort put into them.
Dark Revival is a massive improvement on Ink Machine, both in gameplay and story. Charles has unique gameplay and Charles himself is terrifying.

I don’t know what has happened to indie horror as of late, but holy shit it sucks. Dude I’d kill to go back to the era of Tattletale, Duck Season, and DDLC because at least they made an actual attempt at horror and tried to do something new.
