How has the board of supervisors let us down? They passed a law-that the mayor refuses to uphold-giving a place to shelter in to 8,000 unhoused people in a city of 880,000.
@chesaboudin should be prosecuting her shouldn’t he?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

If
@sfbos and the Mayor had been doing their jobs properly over the past several years, we wouldn't have had such a homeless spike and rampant addiction issues. They've had no plan. They've enabled people in crisis to suffer via inaction. It's been heartbreaking to witness.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
Unfortunately, even after chiming in at the meeting with a syrupy 5 minute greeting, she and her advisers decided not to adopt the law mandating putting 8,000 of our city’s unhoused in hotel rooms. Now that it passed absent her signature she is refusing to uphold the law.
