    All weather mats now available for Model 3. They look... not as good as the ones available for S and X and are missing the cool badging. Must not be contracted with for these.

    In which we verify the "safest" claim for the Tesla Model 3, despite the "no safest vehicle" statement from the NHTSA. As it turns out, the NHTSA itself has a "Comb VSS+Overall Ratings" worksheet which spills all the beans for us.

    Anyone have a recommendation for what USB thumb drive to use for the V9 dash cam feature? I’m going to run it along with my BlackVue setup for redundancy. Looking at you :)

    Finally seeing some more reasonable efficiency numbers. Staying at the speed limit (65-70mph) makes a noticeable difference versus even 5mph over like I used to do. Autopilot makes it less tempting to speed at all.

    Wife got V9 this Morning in her Model S And is NOT happy with the UI changes. No more customization. Can’t move any of the apps around. Maps are locked at full screen. Feels like a downgrade.

    How many people really understand how transformative this is for the car industry. is pushing a major upgrade over the air to all existing vehicles. No service center required. No money either. Just your vehicle getting an improvement.

    V9 moving to wide release now. Holding back Autopilot drive on navigation for a few more weeks of validation. Extremely difficult to achieve a general solution for self-driving that works well everywhere.
