Another stereotype is the association of #AntiNatalism with "eugenics". This stereotype of labelling #AntiNatalists "eugenicists" is what also gets ANs wrongly labelled "racist" & "fascist." #ANs don't target any specific racial/ethnic group for forced sterilizations/abortions!

#AntiNatalists are NOT "racist" or "fascist"!#ANs believe things would be better if all of humanity committed to a voluntary choice to not reproduce/procreate/have kids. Being#ChildFree is not supposed to be "forced" but chosen.1 reply 3 proslijeđena tweeta 13 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
Due to being realistic & practical, some
#AN advocates do want there to be ways to de-incentivize people from procreating. Because having kids means adding another ecological footprint/polluter, I've read the suggestion that parents should pay a carbon tax per child. Interesting.1 proslijeđeni tweet 9 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
I think addressing & countering
#AntiNatalist stereotypes matter. What other people think about#AntiNatalism impacts their receptability of our message. Ignoring the rest of society and treating#AN like an isolationist ideology doesn't help increase the number of#ChildFree ppl1 reply 2 proslijeđena tweeta 7 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
#AntiNatalists care about ending human suffering, so it makes sense to take an activist approach towards#AntiNatalism & to promote being#Childfree as an important, intelligent, ethical choice more people should consider for moral, financial, environmental, & personal reasons.1 reply 2 proslijeđena tweeta 8 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
If you are an
#AN and you want to be passive, disengaged, and uninvolved about#AntiNatalism that is your choice, which is fine. But being quiet, passive, disengaged, and uninvolved in activism and social movements that makes a difference matters morally & ethically (IMO).#VHEMT0 proslijeđenih tweetova 5 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement
#VHEMT is a *"MOVEMENT"*-a voluntary social movement to be#ChildFree . Maybe this is a 'drastic' idea <sarcasm>, but social movements involve activism 99.99% of the time#AntiNatalism#Efilism#TeamNoKids1 reply 0 proslijeđenih tweetova 7 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
I understand the point for some
#ANs isn't about#Childfree community-building or 'growing our numbers'. For some people, making your own individual lifestyle choice to not have kids is enough and that's fine. If you envision#AntiNatalism &#VHEMT as social movements however...1 reply 0 proslijeđenih tweetova 5 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit -
Then more should be going on here, and debate and dialogue and "caring" about undermining and "deconstructing" stereotypes about us and our community matters. It means social engagement and social activism/advocacy, not isolation.

You may not agree, but I think
#AntiNatalism is "stronger" and more practical as a social movement trying to convince people while providing and endorsing#ChildFree communities involved in debate, dialogue, & activism that overlaps with our stances on life, death, & reproduction1 reply 0 proslijeđenih tweetova 5 korisnika označava da im se sviđaPrikaži ovu nit
There's an obvious correlation or clear connection in the #AntiNatalist #Efilist communities with being:
•pro-abortion rights and pro-abortion access
•pro-voluntary sterilization rights and access
•pro-medically assisted dying or pro-voluntary euthanasia
•pro-rational suicide
