I actually thought about it, but I've had BAD luck starting Discords in the past (my last attempts at art/transmog servers never saw more than 2 members).
I don't know if your coworkers would be interested in it, but it could be worth your while to start getting people to join on the science/bug side first and then incorporate artists. Would be a really fun place to find a bunch of like-minded bug-oriented individuals!
