I'm probably the only one who feels this way, but I could keep wiping on any boss forever, even without making much progress. My favorite part about raiding is the rhythm mid-fight, honestly. But, I do have to agree, there was very little rewarding in KJ progression

I mostly agree with your overall analysis. It was an "ok" raid. No fight felt memorably fun, and other than some fights being overtuned no fight was memorably bad.
