This is something I'm constantly battling. If I don't make a conscious effort to set aside free time I will work all the time. I'm getting a lot better at it.
-
That is where I'm at too but I'll be honest, I'm not very successful at all. I definitely fall in the "Almost every day" category, with the few notable exceptions being raid night and some Saturday mornings

Most days I don't even remember to get lunch we just get completely slammed

Ouch! I was the idiot who willingly traded away my lunch for more classes and I regret it every day

My job is 40/week and I'll sure as hell not work more than that. And I feel very, very sorry for people who do not have that choice. If you DO have the choice but go for work>sleep>work, however, I'd recommend reevaluating before you cause yourself harm...

I've done 105hr work weeks (12hrs work, 3 travel /day) which would leave me with vitually no free time, until the next week which would be no work (either 7/7 shift or 8/6)

Ahh, so it's on and off again?

I know from previous experience that not setting up breaks & not being comfortable at your work is the best way to reach a burnout pretty fast. (used to work a huge lot on weekends, but I stopped because of that)
-
A burnout is very deceptive tbh... You don't see it coming until one day, you find yourself really psychologically unable to work - because you'll get mad if you do. So it's good to prevent it from happening :) (and it's much more efficient work-wise too :) )
