      In class today, the teacher was out and the sub was missing. We'd already taken the final test however so there wasn't any work to do

      But, there wasn't a computer in the classroom, just a monitor. The teacher always brings in her own laptop to connect to the projector.

          Taking this into account, I suggested that we play the movie on someone's phone, put it under the ELMO, and project up to the screen.
