Has anyone fought Heroic Illgynoth this week? One of the teams I run with had significant difficulties this week post-changes and we ended up skipping what would have been a farm boss

What was going on Fussy? We didn’t seem to have an issue Tuesday
It was all seemingly undocumented changed to the Mind control mechanic. Folks weren’t healing up to full after being broken free so they’d go down almost instantly to dots (and the health to break them free didn’t seem reduced but this is just conjecture and not based on numbers)

1/2 We had a few instances while progressing on Ilgy where a player would get MCd and run into the poo also while being dps down and when they broke free the dots would kill them or the split second of damage they took from the puddles would kill them. We just chalked it up to

(I’m not seeing the 2/2 so I’m just going to respond to this half) Yeah, we had this happen a LOT last night. The thing is, folks used to pop back up to full so if they had dots or were standing in the bad, the healers had a couple seconds more to react

Additionally, there used to be a period after breaking out of the MC that you were immune to getting re-MCed (which let melee fight the MCed folks) but that’s window was significantly shorter These both seem like pretty major changes mid-tier if they were intended
