Titans and Old Gods aside, are there any other major plotlines hanging about? Was chatting with some friends about what the next expac could be and I just really can't see any options other than those big guns

Hanging around? Other than Sylvanas, I can't think of any. Of course, that doesn't prevent them from inventing new villains.
That’s fair and that’s honestly the way I’m guessing they’ll go. To go full Old Gods would kind of be the endgame of the story, at least from what I can tell

I just posited this in the queue. The Void Lords made Old Gods and threw them out without knowing where they'd land. Would you be OK with going to another planet to fight new old gods?

I would be down for that provided there was some kind of link from Azeroth to said planet further than just “Old Gods”. It’s a good connection for overarching story purposes but not for individual character justifications
