Logic has apparently gone out the window today, I just spent 10 minutes on the phone at work arguing with a woman about whether or not I was her daughter who never calls her back. I kept insisting she had the wrong number but she was having none of that

Once a month i get a call from a young boy asking "Grandpa?" and he becomes very upset that I am denying this. "You have the wrong number." "...Grandpa?" "I'm nobody's grandfather..." "WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT?!?!?"

It _would_ be, if i didn't think it may be one of those "honey, I'm stuck at the airport and need money ASAP" scam calls. It's a child's voice, so it's hard to tell.

Oh hrmm yeah, that’s fair. To be honest, I’ve never gotten one of those spam calls because, before this job, I never answered the phone for numbers I didn’t know. I’d probably be a huge sucker for that trick
