I’ve seen the “take community college courses instead of AP!” tweet floating around a bit today and I just gotta say, *do your research first!*
Many colleges don’t give a flying flip about community college classes but what they will see is you not taking those APs when you coulda (which then shows that you’re not pushing yourself hard enough or some such nonsense) Make sure you know what your target school wants!
From my experience, community college courses feed into universities nearby but AP is guaranteed for most public institutions, especially if you get a 4+. Tho at my highschool, AP was way harder (which is why it was weighted as 5.0 instead of dual credit 4.5 GPA
