In a world cup final, the refs are looking to minimize the amount of calls to keep the game flowing and to minimize "acting" leading to unfair advantages. There were calls on both side that should have been made and those that should not have been made. Feelbads for Nederlands.
BUT I AM DEEPLY SUSPICIOUS OF THIS CLEARLY BIAS REF
Our ladies can get straight up charged from the back without so much as a whistle and I am not amused

That absolutely makes sense but when none of the refs notice one of the players repeatedly waving them down because she's bleeding, I gotta wonder if it's maybe worthwhile to give a few more pauses in the pace of the game ....

How about girl with blood all over her face and she has to put her hand up because NO ONE seemed to notice?

That one was particularly egregious! Luckily, the biased calls seemed to drop off in the second half, but there just weren’t *enough* calls for *either* side at that point
