Random thought as I procrastinate on my essay: Do you think there are colleges or universities or any other institution of higher learning in Azeroth that *don’t* teach magic? Are there schools that exclusively teach non-magical things like history, philosophy, or science?

Bringing this back into the context of WoW though, I would suppose a similar sort of "mythicization" of knowledge itself occurs in regards to magic users (chiefly the Kirin Tor). It's not just the magic that makes them powerful, it's also the monopoly on information
