      4) Speaking of sleep, Kya only gets about 4-6 hours every night, and less so when she's on a campaign. She struggles with intense nightmares and uses sleep deprivation to avoid them (it's maybe not such a good thing!)

      I remember that from military exercises, though not due to nightmares. After a while the body gets so tired you just black out when sitting down. Sometimes you also get hallucinations from sleep deprivation. Well, humans do. ;)
