Regarding the elephant in the room, I hope there is more background and context there that we just haven't gotten yet. That being said, I do have to give Blizzard credit for being gutsy enough to do something like that to one of their most iconic zones #Spoilers #Warcraft

I've never been a huge night elf fan, which is probably part of the reason why I'm not feeling the same emotional impact (if they'd done that to the Exodar, for example, I woulda lost it) but I do completely understand where folks are coming from #Spoilers #Warcraft

Also, from a completely selfish WoW headcanon/RP perspective, this event gives me a ton of writing material to cover which I'm excited to get into. But, that's a really small part of what makes events like this important and I realize that #Spoilers #Warcraft

As a Tauren Druid I really had to spend some time thinking about how I could even go on in the quest line. It was really cool because it took me back to the my days of WoW. I spent some time exploring the old world and sure enough I found a story that makes sense. Cool stuff.
