As a Tauren Druid I really had to spend some time thinking about how I could even go on in the quest line. It was really cool because it took me back to the my days of WoW. I spent some time exploring the old world and sure enough I found a story that makes sense. Cool stuff.
If you don't mind me asking, what's the story you uncovered? I really wish I had some more developed Horde OCs for this, because there's a lot of ways this event can be spun on the Horde side, especially for those who don't agree with it
So after a long journey here I stand Warchief, by your side. To do my duty, to protect my people, and to liberate that which is held captive. If the Alliance seek to destroy us even after we joined forces; the Horde must stand together to save ourselves.

So backstory... I was already a little disappointed about the response of Malfurion and Tyrande when you show them Illidan's message. Illidan who sacrificed everything to save us all, they couldn't even show one ounce of respect.
So after leaving the Dark Lady with her terrible request still ringing in my ears, I had pledged my allegiance to her face but faltered once out in the Undercity. These Forsaken are not my people, I am of nature and life not death.
I took wing and returned to the Emerald Dreamway. But it was not the same. This grove used to bussle with my Alliance and Horde brothers and sisters side-by-side as we all prepared for the fight of (and for) our lives.
I returned to Moonglade, desolate and empty as well. My heart ached for the bonds that war had forged. Then the tree called to me. Again I took flight, over the Dark Shore out across the sea, I could hear Teldrassil cry to me to come.
As I came to the village that provides passage to the tree I saw Elven guards take aggressive positions, I stayed in my travel form I could do no harm and still they took aim. I called to them to fetch their druids they would explain. I am Archdruid Oodri
I mean no harm, the tree calls me, I must enter. Take my Fangs if you must, I will abandon my armor, I am no threat to you. Can you not hear Teldrassil's voice?
The tree cried out again but not one Elf acknowledged. These selfish creatures respect nothing. I left.
I started to fly back out over the sea and again the tree called. How can Archdruid, protector of Azeroth, conqueror of the corruption of the Burning Throne be barred from the World Tree.
