You're young and going to college in the fall, I don't think you have to decide your 'one true calling' now.
That is very, very true, but I also know, at the back of my mind, I'm supposed to be 'exploring everything I like now', which is stressful in it's own special way! I need to be gaining the background in order to make that decision within the next couple of years

Sure, but college will be a big part of the exploration and decision-making process. You may get access to classes, clubs, events, etc. that might help push you one way or the other.
