And I worry that, because of this, I'm shooting myself in the foot. Folks get known for their niche per say, and I occupy a few different ones. This is not to say I want to become 'known', but when much of what I do relies on community engagement, I need to be somewhat marketable
That is true. And, I suppose, that's another wrinkle of mine -- deciding which is more important, financial security or community service. Both can happen eventually, but I do have to choose one to be able to unlock the other eventually
