No words, no actions, no laws are enough until we end this epidemic of school shootings in our country. My heart is with the students and parents of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

What law specifically would have helped, Ellen Degenerate?
-
For one, banning AR 15's! How rude to start name calling!

Let's get the
#ElectoralCollege abolished. That would go a long way toward making our votes actually matter. -
And we need paper ballots, bipartisan hand counting, bipartisan post election audit before election results are certified in ALL elections to stop Russia AND corrupt election officials!

But, our votes won’t matter unless there is campaign finance reform. Right now corporate dollars are the only voice speaking to our leaders or even funding our choice in leaders. We the people have no actual representation in our “representative democracy”
-
Saying this again: As long as money rules our political system and creates career politicians then money controls our government. This is no longer a govt of by and for the people. America has a govt that is of by and for its own perpetuation

We need to train and arm our teachers.
-
I am a retired teacher, now subbing. Hell no to arming teachers!! Ridiculous! Do you understand the danger of a loaded gun I a classroom? Just where do I keep it out of reach but accessible? Teachers, teach! Lawmakers get their damn act together and work on gun control together!

The world is forgetting about our youth. We seem to think they can survive and learn life's lessons on their own, but in fact they are being let down. Bullying has become a major epidemic too as it follows them everywhere, there no way to get away from it. Our kids need us more.
-
Unfortunately, bullying starts with
@realDonaldTrump. He bullies everyone that doesn't agree with him. -
my point is about our youth and bullying, when i was at school, it stayed at school but know it follows them through social media. I have a high functioning autistic daughter whos tried to commit suicide due to bullying more than once.
-
I agree Samantha. I remember this young boy in high school was bullied by everyone. I decided I would never be apart of this. I said hi to him once. He broke down cried and transferred out of the school. Wish I would have stepped in for him sooner.

Our country is not perfect but I am so glad to live here where there are gun laws. Look around America. This is not an epidemic every where else in the world. Access is a big part of the problem.
