I am not a millennial and offends me because the ad is #ageist and divisive! I am frankly saddened that you do not see this.

I have been around the block quite a few times. I am not the least offended by that ad. I have heard people say things just like that. I hope it fires up the young people because, these people exist.
-
But don’t you see? This ad is encouraging people to assume you are conservative and against younger peoples interests, based solely on your having been around the block a few times.
-
That was the purpose of the ad.
-
It’s not my place to tell you how to feel about how people are painting you. I’d be mad as hell. But if you can rise above it, well, hell, I guess your a bigger person than me

-
If the shoe fits, wear it.
-
So, if you yourself are as old as you claim, are you admitting to be just like the people in the ad? If the show fits, after all
-
I am not offended because the shoe doesn’t fit.

#Ageism You really need to go that low to make your point? -
Seriously.
@TheEllenShow not interested in you following me. I generally believe in your view point, but in my city that generation/2 -
Voted, and believed in everything that needs to happen now. So stop building moats and start building bridges./final

It's a reverse psychology add to get millenials to vote (statistically, we are less likely to)

This ad is
#ageist in BOTH directions: It paints both older adults and millennials with very broad brushes and relies on divisive and untrue stereotypes. The way to inspire people is not to offend them but to inspire them. Let's appeal to the BEST in voters, not the WORST. -
Older adults DO vote more than young adults & that age group votes conservative more than liberal. Young adults have a very bad record of registering to vote but when they do they tend to vote more liberal. There are obviously exceptions.
-
Yes, these trends are true, but the Red/Blue ratios, aren't as lopsided & which the media often exaggerate. Check out the graphs in this report. The ad is misleading as it characterizes all older voters as conservatives.http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/03/20/a-wider-partisan-and-ideological-gap-between-younger-older-generations/ …

OMG. I am tired to death of everyone being offended by everything. I’m old. If this gets kids out to vote, I’m with it. I’m not offended. I’m hopeful. I’m going to bed.

I am a "millennial" and it offends me that people are pushing this as an appropriate and effective campaign. It is divisive and ageist.
-
I am an independent Generation X (I prefer the term baby buster) consistent voter. I am not interested in the politics of divisiveness or accepting
#ageism an irrational prejudice against ones future self. There is no progress in prejudice. This is on@nailprovidence &@taraemcg
