Guess the three years my husband I lived together (and cared for and supported each other) before deciding to get married was a waste of time? Absolutist takes like this are so boring and I doubt convince anyone who didn't already agree

The problem with blue-pilled libertarians is that they regard freedom as a preference and not a matter of life and death.

I discuss the disappearance of the term "lesbian," why I hate the word "queer," and why I think lesbian community spaces are actually valuable:

The lesson we should have learned from 9/11 is that it’s a huge mistake to suspend civil liberties, vilify ordinary people, and give the state emergency powers with no off-ramp. Yet here we are in 2021 doing this again, only now it’s a war on disease instead of a war on terror.

I read an article by Katie Herzog about the disappearance of the lesbian community because of the queer intersectional takeover, & I share my experiences with the lesbian scene in NYC in the early 2010s:

In the final installment of my Latinx series, I get personal and discuss my "Latina identity" and why I reject the concept of the "Latino community" and the term Latinx:

I discuss the terms Latino vs Hispanic as it relates to the Latinx debate, as well as statistics about the knowledge and usage of the term Latinx by people within the Latino "community." Pt 2 of a series:

Heard the term "Latinx" and wondering what it's all about? Listen to a "white passing" Latina discuss the term's origins and the arguments for and against its usage:

My thoughts on the huge impact of Tumblr on the high rate of mental health diagnoses among 18-29 year old liberal white women, as someone who just exited that demographic:

LISTEN UP KIDS Sometimes in life you will be punished for doing the right thing And you'll be tempted to do the wrong thing the next time Believe me when I tell you the cost for doing that wrong thing will be higher than the punishment would have been

You are not a skeptic who “questions authority” just because you hate the opposing political party to your own

weird that we write off dreams as entirely useless noise. We literally spend a third of our life in a completely different world, existing in a purely symbolic space, and then forget about it in the morning. This is utterly insane to just write off.

I started asking myself before speaking “why am I saying this?” If I noticed it was out of pain, revenge, anger, sadness, spite, I refrained from speaking until those emotions passed so I could speak from a pure heart. This has radically changed my life for the better.

It's important to engage with Leftist Twitter once in a while, to remind yourself that there are many, many people out there who would round you up into death camps, just for your political, religious, and moral beliefs, if they had the power to do so.

if people are told that getting the vaccine makes them safe from getting COVID, they will now feel more comfortable engaging in behaviors that risk getting COVID. this is the big disconnect happening atm.
