Sounds like China's pervasive surveillance. This is going to do long term harm to people's mental and physical health. Being under surveillance is damaging to the psyche.https://twitter.com/WSJ/status/1177357178975457285?s=20 …

You need to see some of the scary things
@Blackboard came up with a few years ago. I recall the inclusion of transact and learn.... basically ‘analytics’ to ‘assist’ the ‘institutions’ on forecasting who in a class ‘are at risk’.... -
What sort of query could I look for in Google to learn more? Wasn't aware Blackboard did any product development similar to this
-
Look for their campus solutions. It was a great idea.... until they said we can track students from their dorm all the way to classroom and predict their grades. It was scary....

If I was in a job interview, and the company told me they used them, I'd walk out and take one somewhere else.
-
I'd take on the job and then given my presentations using mime and interpretative dance. You don't need to fight the machine, just completely confuse it. Like watching Fury followed by My Little Pony on Netflix: its algorithm implodes.
-
That’s what my youngest son and I are doing with Netflix: How to train your dragon next to Mindhunter and so on
-
He will love Mindhunter. Plenty of ideas
-
not quite yet, he’s 11 -
He's 11 and watching Mindhunter while you watch How To Train Your Dragon????
-
Yeah, I love Ninjago too
, and after that he can watch Downton Abbey -
Woah! Wait a minute Downtown Abbey may be a bit too strong for him.

Why do the bosses think they need that? Are they so inempt they cannot figure out productivity, so they monitor useless stuff instead? Idiots maybe all their employees will quit or go on strike?
-
It's so they can go sneak off to play golf (and/or harrass the lapdancers at the local strip joint) instead of supervising their employees
