Not just diverse. Its the most proportionally representative House of Representatives ever. Never has congress looked more like the actual country before.

Only one side. I wish the media would not leave out that detail. The GOP side is overwhelmingly White and male.

That’s solely due to Democrats and multicultural America. But the Republicans look like a 1950s corporate boardroom - old, white and bitter. Meanwhile, Trump surrounds himself and poses with white skinheads.

This Congress is so diverse that it has the first two openly anti Semitic supporters of genocide against Jews in over 70 years. Both proud Democrats. @RashidaTlaib and @IlhanMN

Diverse maybe but @ what cost ? was they chosen on ability or their race & gender ? That's just as bad as a third world country selecting a leader because they've got the family name ! A recipe for failure !

What do you mean by diverse? Still looks like self entitled, self adulating people who live by their own rules while making crappy ones for us. What a joke if legislating is thought of as battle. CRAZY!

Is too much diversity good? Do too many minority groups actually cause governments to stall, to do nothing because consensus impossible? Humans rarely operated fully rationally & politicians are no different. Actions of politicians are driven by biases & even strong prejudices.
