🚨 MessagingCenter has been deprecated for .NET MAUI in .NET 7 and will be removed in .NET 8 - PANIC!
💡 The recommended replacement is WeakReferenceMessenger which is also MUCH faster!

.NET 7 is now included in Ubuntu 22.10, for Arm64 and x64.
If you want to appreciate seeing Canonical love for .NET, please share some emoji appreciation on this comment: github.com/dotnet/sdk/iss. A lot of hard work went into delivering these fresh builds.

I only use AWS and have been building on .net since 2003. I believe in picking the best of everything. For frameworks that’s .net. for cloud that’s AWS.

Coming in .NET 8: HTTPS support in ASP.NET Core on macOS 🎉
Kestrel is .NET's cross-platform HTTP server. It runs on Windows, Linux and macOS. Unfortunatly, a point of friction for developers has been no HTTPS support on macOS. That's fixed in .NET 8!

The hard work was in SslStream. We just needed to remove OS checks and friendly error messages in Kestrel. Then everything Just Worked.
I'm looking forward to simplifying ASP.NET Core docs for macOS devs.
