Funny enough, the solution is cheaper than what they were doing.
If I were you I'd tag the event organizers so this gets addressed. Smash is bad about brushing things under the rug.
I dont know who they are honestly. I usually try to avoid smash drama. But, this really hit home.
Their metal detector didn't pick up my metal watch, belt or lanyard. Not sure if that's the type of metal they even detect but still sus imo.
Those particular metal detectors only pick up a certain amount of metal on your person. So, they worked fine. But, they didnt question much anyway.
