He uses some of the same conservative arguments that we do to address some of the misconceptions white conservatives have about black Americans, and vice versa. One of the challenges CBC's face is not just breaking through the conditioning of the left, but also...

But it's essential that these issues are addressed if we want black Americans to support conservative candidates. What do y'all think?

We have to be consistent. I think color blind is a bad term and a lie. Everyone knows I am black. I get what most mean but its bad still. You treat people the same regardless of race. A few black cons are bringing identity politics into the con circle. We can't ignore wrong.

I think racist is being over used so much people cannot tell anymore. I have seen a cop almost die because he let a speeding woman almost run over him with her car. I know my instinct was to think if she was black she would have been full of bullets.

Libs really do be racist more times than they admit and many cons play into identity politics especially many that just woke up since Trump. Why were they sleep during Obama, at least his 2nd term? Its a mess but this thread is a start.

I think they were asleep because voting/ being democrat was automatic. Every part of black existence during Obama's presidency was "black is democrat, democrat is black". Trump woke people up because he has balls. The GOP doesn't have balls. Sorry so blunt.

Sonnie once said, and I hope I get it right, how can black folks trust the GOP when they can't even stick to their promises or fight back. I think I got the gist of it right.

However you look at Trumps Baltimore tweet, I don't think any of the other 17 republicans he ran against would have done that if they had won. He even got OAN in the hood.

Had Fox and Friends not played that clip of Cummings Trump wouldn’t have either. Let’s just be real.

We have to thank Kimberly for that. And the people there who asked her to put Cummings on blast.
