WHAT: The Research Scientist will work with a team of researchers who worked with the Kepler mission, extracting photometry from archival Kepler data using modern techniques and tools. The project will involve creating high value astronomy data products and exoplanet hunting

WHO: We expect this position to suit early-career researchers able to execute projects with some independence. Background in a technical subject (e.g. astro, CS, statistics), and strong coding skills are required

BONUS: The RS will be able to publish papers, mentor students, and attend academic conferences with the team. The RS will be mentored by experienced researchers from the Kepler team. The position comes with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Hi, the position is open to people with a masters degree or higher. A PhD is beneficial but not required. Postdoctoral research experience is not required, but is welcomed. Hope this helps!
