My kids don’t watch the news ever. I let them know the age appropriate version of current events. It’s my job to shield them from the evils of the world.

There are things that your children are going to be exposed to no matter how hard you try to protect them. Why on earth would you want to expose them to things unnecessarily that you could have otherwise prevented? Your child’s innocence is worth protecting
