The worst part of living in California is believing everywhere else will be just as expensive and degenerate as California Living without hope is a recipe for generational failure

This is ironically true, Californians often have this assumption that everywhere else in the country is “progressing” like CA They’ll think this without ever having traveled outside the state (more common than you could imagine)

I was born and raised CA Central Valley in a place I like to call "Methdusto", the teachers taught us California is the best place on earth with the easiest living and anywhere else is like a Mad Max wasteland of violent hicks eating tree bark to stay alive "Hotel California"

Growing up just outside of NYC makes me see every other state as very empty and barren. So I know I want to travel quite a bit before deciding where I want to settle down. Because Lord knows I'm not staying in NY my whole life.

Every location is full of SOMETHING. That something changes based on region. NYC is full of people, and especially a specific type of person with a certain mindset. Find yourself a place filled with something you actually want.

My girl and I were talking about it yesterday. I sincerely want to move to a small community filled with people like I've met here on Twitter. Since so many make money online it would be incredible to all choose a spot and really hunker down there.

I've got an out of state buddy moving here to my local village in a couple months to raise our kids together. Cheap land, easy taxes, sleepy local government. Two more families are teetering on the fence. It's already begun.

It's the next logical progression. Curate content. Curate people you follow and listen to. The highest form of wealth is in curating your neighbors. They have a far greater influence on quality of life than anyone here talks about.
