Barnes and Noble is all that was propping these guys up and they’ve been surviving for 10 years solely on selling real estate by closing stores. They got bought in the hopes of rebuilding but COVID WRECKED them. Big publishers can’t move books and Amazon bleeds them. Freefall.

They’ve been MOSTLY decent but the platform is bloated beyond belief. Hard to slot yourself and get visibility, and it’s becoming more pay-to-play with ads. We’ll see what the future brings for either cleaning up their platform or new platforms blossoming.
