Wait, I thought people knew this. I typically open my deeper prayers in worship (or thanksgiving) as Jesus demonstrated ("Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name."), but they are distinct things.

Order of service at every church I've attended has been praise and worship FOLLOWED by prayer, usually focusing on a petition for healing of the sick and a blessing upon the service itself.

Not to pick fights, but this wasn't lost. It was purposefully distorted by Protestants so they could accuse Catholics of idolatry/paganism when they pray to saints. Until Protestants stop making this false accusation, they won't accept the distinction.
