We're hoping to start building this kind of thing once we roll our game database out. Every game from every console generation plus users being able to "add" games to their "library" to help keep track of what they own + what they want. Comprehensive enthusiast coverage to match

Sure. But don’t just make that a FEATURE. MAKE THAT THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. Makes games pairing and finding your next game the MEAT of it. “WHAT TO PLAY NEXT”

Also the goal of the site has always been to cut through the chaff and get to truly fun and interesting games. All of the news and reviews reflect that. All hand curated by real gamers. I want to triple down on it and make it a hub like you said

Reviews are cool. I don’t want to slog though ten lengthy reviews to find one game when I only get 45 minutes twice a week to play.

“That was fun. I want more like it.” Log into WHAT SHOULD I PLAY NEXT . COM Site saves my top 5 games plus 20-question profile. Insert newest game I enjoyed and want more games like. Pick top 3 recommended and check them out on PSN 5 minutes and I’m playing again

No reviews needed, no wading though 50 games categorized wrong, just pure recommendations and back into playing

Dang I wish someone did this for anime too. Finding a new one is a MESS. Every anime fits into every single genre category on Crunchyroll. Existing Recommendation systems are useless.

Keep in mind reviews are really just a deep dive into a game the customer already wants to buy anyway. They’re a lengthy recommendation service for people hesitant to spend the cash and eager for an exact match to what they like So cut to the chase and give 5x more people reccs.

Sounds like one of those algorithms I've seen where you answer a set of like 20 questions and they give you recommendations on wine

Bingo I don’t wanna read 50 wine pages plus lengthy reviews to figure out which bottle to try next I want a recommendation in 5 minutes or less and to be drinking wine in 10

Wine quizzes work off taste profile, so what would game quizzes work off of? How long do you play at 1 time (20 minutes vs 8 hour binge sessions), Indie vs AAA, pixel art vs hyper-realistic graphics, what year it came out, fun/light vs deep/challenging. Lots of metrics there
