That wasn’t an argument. Are you implying that Christians didn’t burn witches? More generally, is it your perspective that Christians don’t commit grotesque atrocities but Aztecs do? Anyone who “checks the real history” can find plenty of examples of both.

Burning witches was a relic from pagan Germanic tribes. It was forbidden after Charlesmagne conquered Saxon territories, had a return at the end of the middle ages due to the "witch madness" in Mid Eur. The Spanish Inquisition forbade witch trials, lazy judges did the opposite.
