There hasn’t been a good new game in years and years anyway. They’re like the new iphone or something - small incremental steps, usually at the expense of what was really good in the old version.

Trying to think the last time I finished a recent game and said, “That was a great experience.” In 2 years, only one I can think of is Ghost of Tsushima. Wasn’t even mind-blowing, just a lot of pure fun.

I have some genuinely good memories from playing games but most of them involved playing with other people. The time I’ve spent playing on my own or with strangers, while enjoyable, leaves me unsatisfied.

Imma be honest witchu though there's a chance I buy a PS5 JUST to play the Demon's Souls remake. Best game I've ever played. Way back before Dark Souls was cool.
