Even though I've done pretty okay for myself for half a decade on my own out in WA, I'd be lying if I didn't admit I'm glad my brother recently moved in with me. (Also helped old friends of the family live out here too)

The current monetary system has forced our hands. We’re chasing money in an effort to keep up with how quickly it’s devalued.

That argument would be a lot more convincing if ten adult family members didn’t routinely move into ten separate apartments to pay ten rents and ten sets of utilities and complain about how suicidally lonely they feel so they numb themselves with medication, alcohol, and weed.

Moved 12+ hrs. Within 4 yrs went from homeless to home owner. Married, first child on the way. Widowed mother in law and my surviving little sister living with us. All to say that if you think you’re the exception? Build so your children aren’t.
