I lived with my parents until 29. Had a roommate until 34. If I didn't do this then a good chunk of money would have gone to rent & food. I wouldn't have been able to build my first business without doing this.

It is utter stupidity for ten family members to separate and pay ten mortgages and ten sets of utilities as they sit alone and wonder what life would be like if they felt loved.

Treating your family like a corporation is a recipe for hostile mergers and acquisitions. The level of scale matters. Running your family like a commune or fiefdom is the way to go.
